ASICS GEL-KAYANO 5 OG "White" Gets Dipped in Fluorescent Yellow
The chunky sneaker preps for the warmer months.
ASICS readies for Summer with its latest retro-inspired release, dropping a white iteration of the GEL-KAYANO 5 OG silhouette. Its predominantly white mesh and leather upper is treated to a host of seasonal colors such as fluorescent yellow and sea blue.
The ASICS GEL-KAYANO 5 OG’s sole unit sees the same off-white hue that features on the shoe’s suede paneling. The chunky sole unit is finished with white speckles and a bright, contrasting fluorescent yellow outsole, which is paired with sea blue fin-shaped cutouts and a dark grey block overlaying the “DUOMAX” branding.
Sea blue is also used to highlight some of the sneakers most notable traits, such as its visible GEL bubble and classic rear-quarter panel ASICS branding. Rounding off this seasonal pair is a blue and yellow tongue tab, blue trimming and duel-toned fabric lace locks along the vamp, tongue and toe box.
