'Jojo's Bizarre Adventure' x Vans Collection: A Closer Look

For fans of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, we now have a closer look at the Vans collaboration with Hirohiko Araki’s longstanding manga-anime series.

Celebrating the series’ Vento Aureo/Golden Wind story arc, the footwear collection is centered around the character design of Giorno Giovanna and Bruno Bucciarati. The Era Pro features a fuchsia velvet construction accented by embroidery which references Giorno’s trademark curled hair. Additional decorations come in the form of gold trimmed heart cutouts on the tongue and weathered eyelet plugs which reference the character’s ladybug emblazoned outfit.

The Slip-On pair features a canvas upper marked with the contrast-based spoon print found on Bruno’s signature look. The homage to Bruno continues with the gold trim and bold vamp zippers which reference the character’s Stand Stick Fingers. Finishing up the unique sneaker are quotes which are revealed when the vamp zips are unzipped.

Elevating the shoes are white midsoles marked with contrast line details and lateral midsole tabs paired with Vans’ signature waffle outsole. Each shoe comes with illustration printed insoles that depict Giorno Giovanna or Bruno Bucciarati with their respective Stands Gold Experience and Sticky Fingers, along with a special box that expresses a mashup of the ladybug and zipper motifs tied to the flamboyant characters.

Priced at ¥9,720 JPY (approximately $88 USD), the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure x Vans collection is available now at Bandai Fashion Collection and select retailers.
