Fashion East Announces Saul Nash as Menswear Newcomer
Joining Mowalola & Robyn Lynch.

Fashion East has announced that Saul Nash will be joining its roster of emerging designers as its menswear newcomer for 2019. Nash will join Mowalola and Robyn Lynch, who each made their London Fashion Week: Men’s debut as part of Fashion East’s Fall/Winter 2019 show.
Saul Nash is a Masters graduate in Menswear at the Royal College of Art and also has a BA in Performance Design & Practice at Central Saint Martins under his belt. Nash fuses his two disciplines as a dancer and a designer together for a menswear collection which explores the kinetic body and the subversion of sportswear via the memories of the different people he grew up around in London.
Nash is set to showcase his Spring/Summer 2020 collection at London Fashion Week: Men’s this June. When asked what joining Fashion East meant to him, Nash said “Fashion East is really important to me. It has come at a crucial time for me as a creative, in terms of the direction I want to take and the support I need.”
He added that “It is really empowering to have support from a group of such caring people.” Discussing his show, Nash said, “I never really like to say too much until the deed has been done, but that keyword would be ‘performative’. It plays a big role in what I do, and how I express myself.”
Saul Nash will join Fashion East’s illustrious alumni — which includes the likes of Kim Jones, JW Anderson and Martine Rose — and will receive a bursary, a free venue and complete catwalk show production by the non-profit Old Truman Brewery initiative.
