Blends' Latest Editorial Spotlights the fragment design x Dr. Martens Hollingborn Derby
An evocative look at the upcoming collaboration.
After being teased by Hiroshi Fujiwara, Blends recently put together a new editorial centered around the soon to release fragment design x Dr. Martens Hollingborn Derby. Dubbed “Made in England,” the evocative look at the collaborative shoe is comprised of monochromatic scenes of a black suit and tie trio held up in a sequestered motel parking lot.
Drawing from Hiroshi’s favorite Dr. Martens models, the Hollingborn Derby combines the distinctive patent leather upper from Dr. Martens’ 1461 Patent with the black tonal stitching sole from the 1461 Slip Resistant. Additional detailing comes in the form of fragment design lightning logo debossed heel panels, a premium leather lining and an extended five-hole lacing system.
