New iPhone XR Rumored to Drop in Green and Lavender
Last quarter’s best-selling iPhone in the US.

Japanese blog Mac Otakara reported last week that Apple‘s iPhone XR will add two color options to its existing collection: green and lavender, with the removal of the blue and coral models. Now, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman has tweeted a photo of the supposed glass used for iPhone casings in the new release, which confirms the earlier rumor. The photo on Twitter shows a new green and lavender shade of glass, as well as yellow, black, and white. Its also reported that the usual (PRODUCT)RED will continue to be available to customers.
Based on the tweet and the other reports, Mac Rumors has rendered an image of what the iPhone XR’s lineup could possibly look like. Included in the mockup is a dual-lens rear camera housed within a square bump — another new feature that’s been rumored to be on the iPhone XR. Will have to wait until September when Apple officially announces its upcoming releases to see whether or not these rumors are true, so stay tuned for more updates.
