Palace Announces Release of Summer 2019 Kickers Footwear Collaboration
The latest footwear offering from the British skate imprint.
Following their Ultimo 2018 collaboration, Palace recently revealed the release of its latest team up with UK footwear brand, Kickers.
This time the unlikely duo, looked to reference Kickers’ place as a cultural staple in rave and indie-rock culture, more specifically during the rise of the Manchester scene in the mid-80s, into the early ’90s. Set to release in neon yellow, orange, and tonal black, the premium takes on the low-top boat shoe silhouettes are constructed of lush nubuck decorated with co-branded silver-tone eyelets and a “PALACE” logo badge. Additional detailing comes in the form of a Kickers midfoot tab, branding hang tag looped through the laces and a rubber plate embedded into the tongue. Finally, elevating the collaborative shoes are thick rubber outsoles marked with sculpted line designs.
