Last month, Saucony opened up its expansive archive of footwear, dusting off the Azura OG for its new “Black/Yellow” iteration. The silhouette has been done up in another new colorway, this time in collaboration with retailer Bodega.
To commemorate the 13th anniversary of Bodega, Saucony and the Boston-based store have unveiled a darkened pair of Azuras, aptly dubbed “LUCKY 13.” The uppers are layered with neoprene, suede, 3M fabric and mesh. A cherry colored set of Saucony’s triple dotted side stripes are placed at the medial walls, while the lateral comes in black. “AZURA” branding is found at the top of the purple tongue and embroidered near the heel. At the toe box is mesh fabrication framed by silvery reflective swatches. As a finishing touch, black-and-white speckles appear at the midsole, complemented by a thin outsole that’s color-blocked in dashes of purple, red and orange.
The Bodega x Saucony Azura “LUCKY 13” will be available on May 16 at 10 a.m. EST exclusively in-store at Bodega’s Boston location.
