Swedish design house LAYERED has partnered with New York-based fashion label Collina Strada to release a landmark home furnishing collection. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for both brands, serving as LAYERED’s first partnership with a fashion designer and Collina Strada’s inaugural foray into interior design products.
The collaboration comprises four hand-tufted rugs and two sofas, spanning models like the Rosso Garden and Rosso Plaid, that translate the intuitive energy of contemporary ready-to-wear into enduring homewares. Anchored by Taymour’s signature pink and green tones, the designs directly reference Collina Strada’s brand history and previous fashion iterations. For instance, one rug pattern is lifted directly from the floor of the label’s New York flagship store, while another design prominently features the distinct plaid showcased on the brand’s FW26 runway. The collection also introduces two flower-shaped sculptural rugs, such as the Petal Olive Plum, which utilize organic forms to challenge traditional room geometry and bring a dynamic, natural fluidity to the space.
