Megan Thee Stallion has dropped her newest mixtape, Fever. Kicking the record off with the newly-released single “Realer,” the 24-year-old MC manages to retain her confidence during the album’s 14-track run with equal amounts of risqué and humor. Even with the introduction of her fun-loving Hot Girl Meg persona, she still goes hard at her competitors as heard in the track “W.A.B,” which actually stands for “Weak A*s B*tch.” However, Fever’s triumph still mostly relies on the rapper’s sense of self-honesty. Reclaiming the adjective “ratchet” and twisting it to work in her favor, Stallion shines at her brightest when she’s unapologetically herself.
