Medicom Toy Taps UNDERCOVER, fragment design, BAPE and More for Exhibition '19 Tees
Heavyweight collaborators design their own limited edition BE@RTEE.
With Medicom Toy‘s annual exhibition set to go down later this month, the BE@RBRICK manufacturer has gotten busy joining forces with a host of like-minded individuals for some heavyweight collaborations. Brands ranging from fragment design to Hysteric Glamour have contributed a special BE@RTEE design to the upcoming event.
Familiar iconography from Anti Social Social Club, NEIGHBORHOOD and BAPE graces a series of distinctive graphics showcasing logos and bits of BE@RBRICKs alike. For instance, fragment’s offering sees a BE@RBRICK sitting atop a stylized logo while UNDERCOVER situates the collectible atop its familiar hamburger graphic and the “NOODLE” tee sees the same character sipping from a bowl, complete with “MADE IN CHINA” verbiage. Each shirt is offered in two or three different muted colorways, so as to emphasize the bold graphics.
The shirts drop at the Medicom Toy exhibition on July 20, ranging in price from ￥5,800 JPY (approximately $55 USD) for the ASSC collab to ￥13,000 (approximately $120 USD) for the GOD SELECTION XXX goods.
Most recently, Medicom Toy introduced its latest Basquiat-themed BE@RBRICK design.
