Nike Japan Drops the Air Max 95 "Marine Day" Pack (UPDATE)
Celebrating the island nation’s surrounding sea life.

UPDATE: Initially thought to be a one-off Air Max 95 with no particular theme, Nike Japan took to its SNKRS platform to officially unveil the “Marine Day” pack, which consists of two colorways — one in red, white and neon green, and another in blue, white and neon pink. Marine Day is observed every third Monday in July, and pays tribute to the island nation’s surrounding sea life.
You can pick up each pair at select Nike retailers in Japan, including atmos (linked below), and nike.com.
July 11, 2019: Off the heels of Nike‘s previous windbreaker-inspired Air Max 95 sneakers, the American sportswear giant has returned with its latest iteration of the silhouette in “Pink Blast/Midnight Navy.”
As the name of the colorway illustrates, this rendition of the classic Air Max 95 comes with navy hues along the upper, complemented by bright pink accents. Air Max branding is stamped at the tongue, while horizontal navy strips are placed throughout the sides. The rest of the uppers appear in the form of crisp white leather and mesh materials to offset the bold colors. Other details like the heel stamp, translucent Air Max sole units at the forefoot, and pink-tinted bubbles at the rear finish off the sneaker.
The Nike Air Max 95 “Pink Blast/Midnight Navy” is currently available at atmos-tokyo.com for approximately $157 USD.
