New Balance Looks to the Alpines for Made in UK 577 "Mountain Wild"
Crafted from leather, pigskin suede and mesh.
After debuting its proprietary Made in UK line with an expressive “Summer Nine” pack in May, New Balance has turned its attention to the Alpine mountain range for the range’s latest striking release. Dubbed “Mountain Wild,” the elevated 577 silhouette references several natural elements of a mountainous landscape, like colorful flowers and foggy skylines.
The classic 577 sneaker is elevated with premium leather, pigskin suede and mesh along the upper, capped by a dark grey toe and heel and a crisp white midfoot panel. Splashes of light blue along the collar and toe box brighten up the palette, while traces of purple along the vamp and heel logo offer more soft contrast. The “N” logo is coated in grey and outlined in teal to add another dynamic tone, while a comfortable ENCAP midsole and black rubber outsole finish it all off.
