Filipino-American interdisciplinary artist Nathan Bajar drops his debut album Playroom and an accompanying music video for “The Table” that was directed by Mei Liu. The visual was filmed in Bajar’s childhood home in New Jersey and stars himself and his family.
Playroom is an 11-track LP that was produced entirely by Bajar and was conceived as a tribute to Nathan Bajar’s late father and the songs are inspired by stories from Nathan’s family history as well as romantic and familial relationships. Included with the album is a photography by zine that timestamps the record’s process and the characters included.
Nathan Bajar will be going on tour to support his album Playroom, which kicks off on July 13 at The Abrons Art Center NYC and ends August 10 at Webster Hall, see dates below:
