NEPENTHES family member NEEDLES keeps the retro vibes coming for Spring/Summer 2020. Drawing more influence from ’70s styling, the looks encompass plenty of bold patterns and dramatic cuts, with plenty of louche footwear to keep uphold the motif.
Backless and high-heeled loafers anchor the SS20 collection’s laid-back garments, which include woven takes on the classic track suits, pattern-rich shirting and colorful suiting, executed in bright tonal hues. Wide, flared and pleated trousers are offered in various makeups, with NEEDLES’ signature butterfly insignia gracing Western shirts and slouchy blazers alike, with Ghillie sneakers and paint-splattered layering pieces adding more visual intrigue. Complementing the head-turning styling is an array of thematic accessories, including wide brim hats, beaded necklaces and peace sign belts.
