FILA Debuts Bold Styles With Its FW19 Heritage Collection
New and classic silhouettes receive refreshing updates.
For Fall/Winter 2019, FILA — the iconic Italian sportstyle brand — debuts its latest Heritage collection featuring an offering of inventive styles for both men and women. Photographer Matteo Montanari lends his talent to capture the versatile line, showcasing both classic and updated silhouettes with new fabrications and unexpected design elements.
The seasonal drop incorporates striking color-blocked sequences, stripes and oversized pockets complemented by the playful treatment of the brand’s logo. Tracksuits and cropped crew necks are fashioned as modern representations of sporty essentials. Red, white and navy are the primary choice of colors used for these garments, while black, gold and pastel hues act as accent tones. Adding an additional elevated touch, chenille, mesh and textured velour appear as the materialization choices.
Throughout the line, utility-inspired details are effortlessly combined with fashion pieces boasting a style sensibility with a tinge of edge. Most notably, a jacket overhauled with faux fur pushes the collection’s stylistic boundaries. Elsewhere, the staple pieces — overalls, and a selection of parkas, puffers and windbreakers — are accentuated by a range of upcoming FILA footwear styles, underscoring the collection as a whole.
