Jaden Smith has dropped off his latest project, ERYS. While the rapper’s sophomore effort is a complete 180 from 2017’s SYRE — boasting fast-paced tempos and heavy dependence on gritty bass foundations — Smith’s artistry unsurprisingly jumps out of that soundscape in certain cuts.

Tracks like opener “P,” “Fire Dept,” “Summertime In Paris” with sister Willow Smith and the album-titled closer all utilize elements from the opposite side of the genre spectrum, like “P” acting as a piano-centered introduction while upbeat punk riffs create “Fire Dept.” Alongside the collaborative track with the younger Smith sibling are guest verses from A$AP Rocky for “Chateau,” Tyler, the Creator for “NOIZE,” Trinidad James for “Mission” and mentor Kid Cudi for “On My Own.” The album’s deluxe edition also arrives with three additional tracks, including a Flacko-assisted remix of 2018’s “GHOST.”

In other new music releases, you can now cop the digital album of Nas’ highly-anticipated project, The Lost Tapes 2.
