New Balance Drops Kawhi Leonard T-Shirts to Coincide With NBA Finals Victory
“Board Man Gets Paid.”

The Toronto Raptors has just won its first-ever NBA Finals, and Kawhi Leonard is at the front of it all as MVP. To celebrate New Balance has put together some celebratory merch centered around statements tied to Leonard.
Coming in a slew of monochromatic T-shirts, various slogans are emblazoned across each piece. On top of the “Fun Guy.” T-shirts that New Balance has already put out, another popularized statement “Board Man Gets Paid.” is placed in a thin serif font above a small New Balance logo. The former four-word phrase is a tongue-in-cheek nod to the fun trash talk Leonard used to say with his college and high school opponents.
New Balance’s Kawhi Leonard “Board Man Gets Paid.” and “Fun Guy.” T-shirts will be available for pre-order on June 14, 11 a.m. EST at newbalance.com.
