Jordan Brand Teams up With Quai 54 for Colorful 15th-Anniversary Capsule
A nod to Afro-French culture.

With the “Quai 54” Air Jordan 8 and Air Jordan 1 Mid unveiled last week, Nike has revealed the addition of a full Quai 54 collection.
Featured is a pair of the Jordan ”Diamond” Mid Quai 54. Its upper comes in black with an iridescent checkered “diamond” cage at the heel. The tongue tabs display Jordan and Quai 54 branding over a breathable mesh. The French national colors appear on the right heel pull, while Pan-African colors are placed on the left. As a finishing note the sneakers are graced with a black midsole, contrasted by its icy gum bottom.
The collection also includes a pair of slides, a jersey tank-top, hoodie, various hats, a mesh T-shirt and multi-paneled shorts. Each piece is emblazoned with colors of blue, white, red, green and gold as a nod to Afro-French culture. The collection also celebrates the 15th-anniversary of the world-famous streetball tournament. One standout piece is the pair of slides. Coated with a slight sheen, a white Jumpman logo is placed on the right foot over the colors blue and red; Quai 54’s branding is placed on the left, over gold and green. The hoodie is set in a similar color scheme with varying panels at the front, sleeves and hood. Other pieces like the tank-top, bucket hat and shorts display the thematic color scheme in QUAI 54’s block-lettered logo seen on the T-shirt, bucket hat and a pair of shorts.
The full Jordan x Quai 54 collection is expected to release at select retailers on June 8. Quai 54’s 15th annual event will be held on June 23 – 24 in Paris between Bir-Hakeim station and the Eiffel Tower.
