After 13 years off the air, the Travel Channel is bringing back Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!, just in time for the franchise’s centenary anniversary. The reboot will see actor Bruce Campbell, whose previous works include Evil Dead and Burn Notice, hosting the show. There will be 10 one-hour-long episodes featuring all kinds of crazy and fantastical things, a nostalgic throwback for many.

The show is currently in production, being shot at the Ripley Warehouse in Orlando. It’s said to include stories from all over the world: from Brazil to Baltimore. Commenting on his role as host of the show, Campbell said: “As an actor, I’ve always been drawn toward material that is more ‘fantastic’ in nature, so I was eager and excited to partner with Travel Channel and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! on this new show. And because amazing things happen all around the world, we should have no shortage of unbelievable stories to share with a fresh new audience.”

“Travel Channel fans have an insatiable curiosity about the world and sharing this wonderful and weird series with the next generation of fans is a thrill,” says Jane Latman, general manager at the Travel Channel. “This entirely new version of Ripley’s is a fresh contemporary approach to the odd and unusual and will be jam-packed with larger-than-life characters, cool facts, history and science.”

If you’re excited for this reboot of one of the Travel Channel’s strangest and most interesting shows, the new series will premiere this summer. Tune in for your long-awaited dose of unbelievable stories.

And for more entertainment news, Sony has just unveiled some new Spider-Man: Far From Home posters.
