After receiving release information for the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Shattered Backboard 3.0,” we now have a better look at the highly-anticipated sneaker thanks to @kuenjames, @zsneakerheadz and @solebyjc.

The latest iteration of the coveted colorway boasts an upper constructed from orange and black tumbled and patent leather panels, while a sail midsole adds to the vintage aesthetics of the shoe. The design of the over-all shoe is then finished off with a perforated toe cap, black laces, orange Swoosh branding on both the medial and lateral sides, and finally embossed Air Jordan Wing motifs on the ankle.

The “Shattered Backboard” was originally created and released in 2015 to celebrate Michael Jordan’s participation in an exhibition game held in Italy back in 1985 where one of his famous dunks shattered the backboard. The “Shattered Backboard Away” followed in 2016 and the “Satin Shattered Backboard” in 2018.

Look for the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Shattered Backboard 3.0” to release on October 26 at select Jordan Brand retailers and nike.com for a retail price of $160 USD.

For sneakers you can cop now, Kanye West and adidas are dropping a trio of All-Black YEEZYs in this week’s footwear drops.
