Louis Vuitton Showcases OLED Screen Bags at Cruise 2020 Runway

Louis Vuitton has revealed its Nicolas Ghesquière-designed Cruise 2020 bag collection featuring OLED screens at its women’s New York show.
A duffle bag and a bucket bag have been given the OLED treatment so far. The bags combine patent black leather panels with the Malletier’s signature LV monogram canvas motif in its traditional blend of brown and cream emblems. The screens themselves display moving city scenes and contrast the seemingly traditional bags with its use of oversaturated, high-contrast colors and futuristic graphics.
The Instagram account @dlouisvdotcom also reports that the display on the bucket bag is a touchscreen and appears on both the back and the front of the bag. Louis Vuitton’s runway also showcased other standout bags including a skyscraper-inspired clutch and a jewel-encrusted mini-trunk box bag.
Take a look at the entire Cruise 2020 show held at the TWA Flight Center at New York’s JFK Airport below, where you can also find clips of the bags up close.
