UPDATE: Nike has confirmed the release date of 3×1’s collaborative Air Force 1 pack. The sneakers will be available in three colorways: light stonewashed indigo, darker “medium vintage” indigo and washed-out black/grey. All of the shoes boast uppers crafted from bespoke denim sourced from Japan’s Kuroki denim mill, complete with “Bowerman Orange” selvedge IDs revealed near the tongue of each left shoe.
Expect 3×1’s bespoke sneakers to launch on May 24 via Nike’s SNKRS and SNEAKRS apps, select retailers and 3×1’s New York atelier. Check out the new makeups below along with the original imagery above.

ORIGINAL STORY: Nike has linked up with 3×1 to craft a special Air Force 1 “Denim Pack.” As an homage to the label’s wide selection of jeans, you’ll find one colorway showcasing a blue denim upper while the latter is treated using the same material in black. Darker shades of blue are added on the first choice’s Swoosh, eyelets and tongue as the black iteration follows suit in the same locations. A standout detail on both editions is the contrasting red stitching wrapping around the lower portion of the upper – one of the subtle identifiers of selvedge denim.
While this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the AF1 sport a denim makeover, it does mark a first time for the two to join forces. The 3×1 x Nike Air Force 1 “Denim” pack is expected to launch in the coming months at select Nike Sportswear carriers and Nike.com. In related news, AF1 fans can also browse through imagery of its latest red, white and blue colorway.
