A Closer Look at fragment design's Dr. Martens Patent Hollingborn Derby
Complete with the lightning bolt stamp.
The fragment design x Dr. Martens Hollingborn Derby, which was recently spotlighted in BLENDS’ editorial and teased by Hiroshi Fujiwara, will finally drop later this week.
The pair takes its inspiration from Dr. Martens’ archival 5-eye Hollinborn style, taking cues from classic postman footwear for a tonal design that encompasses the mid- and outsole. The shoe features a leather-lined interior and a Goodyear welted sole — a leather strip which runs along the perimeter of the sole unit. The shoe is finished with Dr. Martens’ signature AirWair sole unit in “Smoke Grey” and an embosses fragment design logo towards the heel.
Expect the collaborative shoes to hit Dr. Martens’ site on May 24 for $235 USD. Check out the shoe’s official imagery below.
