fragment design & uniform experiment Tease New Project
In partnership with Burtle.
After teasing just last week the upcoming fragment design collaboration with Dr. Martens, it was unveiled that the twin thunderbolts will be appearing elsewhere as well — over a hi-tech BURTLE jacket under the uniform experiment co-sign.
A recent video teaser titled “uniform experiment x BURTLE ‘実験的空冷服’” — meaning “experimental air-cooled clothing” — highlights the jacket’s versatility as the model jogs through the streets of Tokyo. The teaser starts off during daylight — details of the jacket are clear at this point, showing silver snap buttons, a detachable hood, large diagonal pockets at front body and standard sized ones near the hemline. The back of the jacket is stamped with fragment’s iconic logo with “UNIFORM EXPERIMENT,” emblazoned below.
Towards the final half of the video, the jogger is seen in a darker night setting. He stops to take a breath and pulls out a connecting device that activates fans attached to the left and right sides of the jacket’s rear. Wrapping up the teaser, cool air fills the jacket, demonstrating the hi-tech functions of the piece.
Though there’s no word yet on the exact release date, stay tuned for more news on the highly technical piece.
