Cav Empt Unveils Two Monochromatic T-shirts in Latest SS19 Drop
Sk8thing’s world of digital-dystopia.
As a follow up to Cav Empt’s 14th drop this season, the Japanese imprint has added two monochromatic T-shirts to the slate.
Sk8thing graphics are emblazoned over the white EMP T, depicting a faded silhouette of a woman’s face with darkened hand figures. Digital-inspired motifs like sizable pixels and 3D grids fill up the rectangular frame of the work. At the top, on two sides of the chest are the Cav Empt logos in the label’s familiar typeface and upside down crosses; the back of the T-shirt is graced with branding in all-caps.
As the aforementioned tee’s black counterpart, the CUBE E C T has a blank front profile with a small pocket. The back of the T-shirt features graphics of two blocks outlined jaggedly in a form that appears to be that of ’90s era computer outputs. The letters “C” and “E” are placed within the cells of the cubes that denote the label’s Latin-derived name.
Available now on Cav Empt’s website is the EMP T and CUBE E C T for $65 USD and $74 USD, respectively.
