Supreme Showcases Collaborative McDermott Pool Cue in Action
Via expertly-executed trick shots.
As Supreme prepares for another week of sold-out drops, the New York skate institution has teased its latest collaborative accessory. Crafted by Wisconsin’s McDermott, a high-end pool cue has been emblazoned with Supreme’s unmistakable red branding and logo.
McDermott’s cues have set the standard for billiards players since the company formed in 1975. Handmade detailing, cutting edge craft and premium materials are to be expected, with each cue assembled to uncompromising caliber. For instance, the North American Hard Rock maple that informs the shaft of each cue is individually selected by experts, with forearms, handles and sleeves all passing through the hands of skilled artisans, designers and woodworkers before receiving the stamp of approval.
Though the clip doesn’t spotlight the cue’s construction, it viewers still catch a glimpse of the diamond-patterned sleeve and red grip. Instead, shot by occasional Supreme collaborator @safecrackers, the quick video showcases the pool trick skills of Jon Sciano. After Sciano effortlessly sinks a few balls atop a bar’s pool table, artist Neck Face makes a surprise cameo.
Check out the clip below and try your luck at the pool cue when it drops on Supreme’s site and in-store on May 16.
