This time around BAPE’s joint effort with Germany-based toy company Schuco will be up for grabs. The tinplate mini G550L BAPE XXV Mercedes is wrapped in BAPE’s ubiquitous 1ST CAMO in green, while white outlines of the CAMO print decorate the side windows; contrasting “A Bathing Ape” motifs are then strewn across the front window and both sides of the vehicle. Lastly the hood is dressed with “BAPE XXV” while the spare tire on the back features similar branding and an Ape Head logo.
Other fine details include a Mercedes decal on the plates, exhaust pipes, mini lights, and more. The BAPE x SCHUCO BAPE XXV 25th Anniversary Mercedes will come with a special display case and packaging.
Look for the BAPE x Schuco toy car to release Saturday, May 18 at BAPE retailers worldwide and bape.com for a retail price of ¥25,000 JPY + taxes (approximately $228 USD).
