Following the drop of the “Light Bone” iteration, Nike is gearing up for the release of the Air Fear of God Raid in “Black/Black Fossil.” Taking inspiration from the original 1993 Air Raid basketball shoe—a personal favorite of Jerry Lorenzo’s—the silhouette is constructed with a premium suede and textile upper, and features crossed nylon straps with a zippered heel closure and adjustable toggle lacing system. Nike branding hits can be found on the panel’s complementing black Swoosh and on the double-stacked Zoom Air window unit that extends to the sole, while Fear of God opts for a more subtle representation on the midsole, lace toggle and heel.

The Nike Air Fear of God Raid “Black/Black Fossil” drops May 17 on Nike SNKRS and select retailers for $190 USD.

In related news, the Air Fear of God Moc in “Particle Beige” is scheduled for a same day release.
