LIFUL Gets Minimal With Monochome New Balance CRV Series Mules, Sandals & Slides
Available in two industrial shades of black and grey.
LIFUL MINIMAL GARMENTS has been enlisted by New Balance for a collaboration on its CRV Series of mules, sandals and slides. The collection fuses a sports-tinged aesthetic with utilitarian design cues and colorways, making for a look that uniquely channels South Korea’s distinct fashion scene.
The three styles will be available in both black and grey, and will be dropping exclusively in South Korea. LIFUL gave the CRV slide a pop of color on its tightening strap, splashing a touch of yellow onto its tonal grey design, and sky blue on the black. The sandal sees a similar colorway, with the stitching and heel loop featuring pops of color.
The sandal is LIFUL’s best piece, developing a chunky footwear offering with multiple tech-infused straps and buckles. Rounding off the collection are the mules, which feature a sandal-esque wraparound heel construction with the same transparent buckles and colored loops seen on the sandal.
New Balance branding is added onto the sole of each pair, while LIFUL gets a text-printed patch which is placed asymmetrically onto each silhouette’s main strap. All six of the nylon SS19 offerings will release on May 24 at 11 a.m. KST via New Balance Korea and at layershop.kr.
