Dragon76 Unveils Intricate Oil Paintings For "COEXIST" Solo Exhibition
Taking place at the Compound Gallery in NYC.
Japanese artist Dragon76 is widely-known for his heavily-layered paintings and large-scale murals that feature detailed subjects, varying letterforms, and other intricate motifs inspired by his prolific graffiti background. The Yokohama-born creative will soon unveil a new body of work, largely comprised of oil paintings, as part of a solo exhibition called “COEXIST” at Compound Gallery in the Bronx, NY. Select pieces portray futuristic warriors clad with gas masks and set against ethereal backgrounds filled with wispy clouds.
View select artworks from “COEXIST” above and then head over to the Compound Gallery’s website to learn more. The exhibition will run through June 12 to July 12.
