Diamond Supply & PUMA Reunite for "California Dreaming" Shoes and Apparel
Animal print, tie-dye and premium suede for summer.
Diamond Supply and PUMA have enjoyed a consistent series of team-ups over the past few years, continuing the partnership for Summer 2019. California’s beachside ease inspires the duo’s third collaboration, with a clean tennis sneaker joined by various pastel-hued layering pieces.
Classic PUMA silhouettes, including the Clyde, Suede, Cali-O and branded slide sandals, are tweaked with premium detailing and versatile color schemes. Neutral grey, blue, black and white tones inform the designs, with suede and leather uppers all granting the versatile sneakers a touch of luxury. Diamond-branded tongue tags appear on the sneakers, with a tonal co-branded triangle inset atop the slides’ forefoot strap. Other subtle touches include a translucent midsole on the Cali, raw hems on the Clyde’s tongue and matching hang tag placed inside the eyelets of the gently-tie-dyed Suede.
Apparel options includes summer-ready outerwear and seasonless T-shirts, delivered in versatile hues to match the footwear. A hoodie executed with a throwback PUMA logo and quarter-zip closure is bolstered by a boxy grey T-shirt, monochrome sweater and white cap. Statement pieces come by way of a sweater and short set realized with a bold tie-dye-meets-animal-print motif, offering the same breathable, beach-friendly textiles as a different pair of black shorts. The tie-dye detailing extends to a zippered windbreaker, ideal for California’s breezy summer evenings.
The “California Dreaming” capsule hits Diamond Supply’s website on May 18 before hitting PUMA’s website, stores and select retailers on May 25.
