ASICS Drops Technical '90s-Inspired "Japanese Racers" Pack
Bright colorways adorn the SKYSENSOR & TARTHER.
ASICS is releasing a two-piece footwear collection dubbed the “Japanese Racers” based on the Japan-exclusive “Fast Pack,” which is inspired by ’90s running silhouettes and colorways.
The “Japanese Racers” pack is comprised of the SKYSENSOR JAPAN and the TARTHER JAPAN, two silhouettes which were engineered for superior comfort, speed and practicality. The “Aquarium Blue” SKYSENSOR fuses a classic ’90s ASICS sneaker shape with the technical running SPEVAFOAM sole unit, creating a hybrid that works both on and off the track.
The TARTHER is more performance-focused than the SKYSENSOR, coming in a streamlined knitted textile and suede upper which is dressed in “Hot Pink” and “Safety Yellow” colorways. The TARTHER is priced at $265 USD and the SKYSENSOR at $270 USD. Take a closer look at the pairs above and pick them up when they release on June 8 from ASICS retailers and the ASICS website.
