Smokepurpp Spotlights Local Memphis Neighborhood in New Visuals for "Double"
Featuring NLE Choppa.
As a follow up to Smokepurpp‘s Lost Planet 2.0 album revamp, the Chicago-born, South Florida-raised rapper has returned with new visuals for “Double.”
Set in one of the neighborhoods of Memphis, the video features guest rapperNLE Choppa, a Bluff City native. Local spots like the Issac Hayes mural and Soulsville Kitchen & Market can be seen in the background as psychedelic visual effects flash over the frames in explosive hues and pasted collages of figures. The visuals accompany Smokepurpp and NLE Choppa’s rich lyrics over sounds of warped synths, crisp snares, and heavy bass.
