Trippie Redd Drops Video for "UNDER ENEMY ARMS" (Update)
Premiered on Zane Lowe’s ‘Beats 1.’
UPDATE: The video for “Under Enemy Arms” is out now, which is directed by Christian Breslaued. This is the first single from his upcoming project, A Love Letter To You 3.
ORIGINAL STORY: Earlier this month, we saw Trippie Redd in a psychedelic music video with Wiz Khalifa in “Alright.” The rapper has showed no signs of slowing down when he debuted his new song on Zane Lowe‘s Beats 1.
The track is titled “Under Enemy Arms” and will be part of his upcoming LP titled ! (Immortal). The Ohio rapper mentioned to Lowe during the interview that the project is “pretty much done” and that he’s just working on the finishing touches, like adding features from the The Game. Fans can also expect Playboi Carti to appear on the album.
“Under Enemy Arms” starts off with blaring horns, followed by a set of strings that gets joined by hefty bass and busy hi-hats after that. Trippie’s distinctive autotune melodies meet piping organs throughout the track, offering up a preview of some of the stylistic updates that Trippie may be incorporating in his upcoming projects.
This track measures at 2:42 and follows the rapper’s earlier music video single “Murder” that released last month. Check out the song below.
