Prince Memoir, 'The Beautiful Ones,' Gets Official Release Date
Featuring 50 pages written by the late musician.
Originally expected to be available in 2018, Prince’s memoir, The Beautiful Ones, is now set to release this year on October 29. The book will be published by Random House, with the date having also been confirmed by the Prince Estate earlier today on Instagram.
There will be never-before-seen photos and other content in the memoir, including original scrapbooks and lyric sheets penned by the late musician. In addition, the 50 pages that Prince began writing before his passing in 2016 will also be incorporated in the work.
The Beautiful Ones retails for $30 USD and is available to pre-order now from Random House’s website.
This announcement is timely as fans, friends and other beloved ones paid homage to the artist over the weekend, as April 21 marked the third anniversary of his passing. The legendary singer is also expected to be commemorated in the near future with a Netflix documentary series directed by Ava DuVernay.
