Patta Joins WAFFLESNCREAM on Capsule Collection for Skatepark Project
Including graphic T-shirts and boxing shorts.
As they continue to embark on their mission of building the first skatepark in Lagos, Nigeria, WAFFLESNCREAM has tapped Patta for a fundraising collaboration. The skateboarding collective joins forces with the Amsterdam-based label on a capsule of T-shirts and shorts, dubbed the “COMMON CAUSE” collection, which is stamped with graphics that highlight the union between the two brands.
Each tee has been emblazoned with both “Patta” and “WAFFLESNECREAM” logos on the front, while a melding of African and European flags accentuate the theme of unity. The back of the item is underscored by an image of shaking hands, while the phrase “DISTANT RELATIVES COMMON CAUSE” drives it home. A striped top adds a printed option to the assortment, while a pair of shorts created with boxing brand Fairtex Muay Thai rounds it out with a sporty element.
As of now, the range is available exclusively at the Patta Homecoming Pop-Up in Lagos. Though several fans have inquired on social media, no wider release has been revealed thus far.
