It was announced today that the annual Roots Picnic is moving from its mainstay at Philadelphia’s Penn’s Landing and onto “greener pastures” at the Mann Music Center in Fairmount Park. The Roots frontman Questlove shared the news in a series of Instagram posts, in which he announced the venue change as well as the line-up of acts which will perform at the festival on June 1.

To honor the 20th anniversary of their Things Fall Apart release, The Roots band will serve as headliners and perform the entire album. Other artists set to hit the stage include H.E.R., 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Blueface, City Girls, Ari Lennox and more. There will also be a podcast portion that will host three shows: The Joe Budden Podcast, The Read and Questlove Supreme. DJ sets will be spun by Clark Kent, Stretch Armstrong, D-Nice, and Rich Medina among others. Additionally, the event will feature a live Black Thought Mixtape with DJ J Period and Yasiin Bey (formerly Mos Def). Scroll below to see more of the current list of expected artists.

Pre-sale tickets will be available starting on Thursday, March 14, at Live Nation by using the password “MASHUP”. Beginning Friday, March 15, tickets will release globally at 12 p.m. EST on the Roots Picnic’s official website. “Early Bird” prices start at $69.50 USD, with “Last Chance” pricing starting at $89.50 USD.
