Nike Reveals Recycled VaporMax 2 Colorways
Constructed from unwanted FlyKnit.
Following on from the “Earth Day Pack” and the “Plant Color Collection,” Nike has continued its focus on sustainability with its new VaporMax 2 “Random” release. The new capsule sees the sneaker constructed from excess FlyKnit yarn that would have otherwise been sent to a landfill. This construction gives the sneaker a patchwork of contrasting colors, and means that each new release is entirely one-of-a-kind.
Similarly to Nike’s other sustainable new capsules, the VaporMax 2 “Random” has no fixed release date. Nike has, however, revealed that the sneaker will be releasing sometime in Summer 2019.
