Colmar A.G.E. Enlists Shayne Oliver for More Interpretive Silhouettes
Product innovation meets Italian heritage ski-wear.
Colmar and Hood by Air founder Shayne Oliver have unveiled Part 2 of the Colmar Advanced Garment Exploration (A.G.E.) collaboration. Blending innovation and experimental designs with Colmar’s luxury Italian touch, the collection offers everything from clean T-shirts to reinterpreted modern-day streetwear staples.
Standout pieces from the collection include the technical satin white utility vest, which is packed with concealed clothing enhancements such as Cordura panelling, concealed bungee cord strings in the hem and a multitude of zipped, buttons and hidden pockets. Other key items are the ski pants and the black and blue patch coat featuring a rear Colmar-branded patch.
The collection heavily celebrates Colmar’s Italian heritage via the aforementioned patch, appearing on the selection of T-shirts as well as on numerous jackets. Oliver also celebrates genderless fashion with the collection’s color palette and neutral streetwear-inspired designs, elongated to fit all bodies. Oliver successfully expands the strict realm of functional performance wear into streetwear with a collection that offers inventive silhouettes and fabrics, such as crinkle nylon and poplin cotton, while maintaining an archetypal Colmar aesthetic throughout.
Shop the collection at retailers such as SSENSE.com, where pieces range from £120 to £965 GBP ($170 to $1575 USD).
