Take a First Look at the Upcoming Gold Jordan Brand Proto-Max 720
In a “championship-ready” colorway.
Footwear and graphic designer Rick Maderis took to LinkedIn to explain and showcase the latest model from Jordan Brand, the Proto-Max 720 – revealing the first official lateral look at a new “Gold/Black” colorway. Described as “championship-ready,” the first look at the sneakers comes at an uncanny time, as just last week Nike released a variety of teaser images of the highly-anticipated model, which dons the newly-engineered Air Max 720 sole unit.
As shared by Maderis, the new shoe utilizes a “sizeable Air Max 720-style cushioning unit with a space-age upper.” This specific colorway’s TPU-esque upper comes dressed in soft gold that’s further accented with black on the throat, collar, and space suit-style heel strap. Various details mark the shoe throughout, including Nike’s coordinates that have been printed on the midfoot region near the toebox. Rounding out the shoe is the eye-catching heel cup region, which employs an “iridescent, trophy-esque heel clip, an eggshell-white midsole/outsole, and a translucent Air Max cushioning unit.”
Take a look at the upcoming shoe and colorway above, and be on the lookout as these are slated to be dropping this Spring/Summer season.
