Jordan Brand has previewed an unreleased lifestyle model named the Jordan Vail

The design features a mid-cut mesh upper alongside an ankle-wrapping lacing system that ties behind the heel

Official release dates and retail pricing have not yet been announced by the brand

Jordan Brand has offered an early look at a new lifestyle silhouette dubbed the Jordan Vail. An unreleased red-and-black colorway was spotted on stage at the Black Footwear Forum in Detroit, worn by VP of Global Footwear Dominique Debnam.

Early imagery suggests the model departs from traditional basketball proportions in favor of a lightweight, streamlined construction. The upper relies heavily on breathable mesh paired with a mid-cut inner bootie at the ankle. Instead of a thick, layered midsole, the shoe sits low on a flat rubber outsole.

The design’s focal point is its lacing structure, which crosses the top of the foot, wraps around the ankle, and ties behind the heel. The resulting look echoes hair-tie motifs previously explored on models like the Jordan Heir Series 2, tailored here for everyday lifestyle wear.
