Hulu & A24 Join Forces for New Comedy Series 'RAMY'
Executive produced by Jerrod Carmichael.
A24 has teamed up with Hulu to create a 10-episode half-hour comedy series exploring Muslim and Muslim American culture called RAMY, starring, written, and created by Ramy Youssef.
Ramy Hassan (Ramy Youssef) is a first-generation Egyptian-American who lives in a politically-divided neighborhood in New Jersey alongside his traditional mother and father. The series follows the young man on a “spiritual journey,” the challenges of being Muslim American and adhering to Muslim community sensibilities, and living a life perceived by his religion to be a moral test.
Executive produced alongside Jerrod Carmichael, check out RAMY on Hulu when it drops April 19.
