Vans "Mysterioso" Pack Yields Most Colorful Tie-Dye Sneakers to Date
Even the laces are dyed.

Following two different tie-dye collections — one with multiple styles and another consisting exclusively of Era models — Vans has delivered yet another colorful offering. This release centers around rich explosions of color and mismatched patterns, mixing things up from the other recent drops.
Centering around two Old Skools and a Slip-On, the pack offers up two “Mysterioso” sneakers, with a comparatively simple mismatched Old Skool to round out the trio. The “Mysterioso” shoes sport blue tones as a base, with bright splashes of yellow for maximum summertime contrast. The dynamic hues are balanced with single-tone suede toecaps and heels for stability, though the Old Skool is anything but subtle with its tie-dyed laces.
The multi-colored Old Skool is the most restrained of the bunch, with a tonal black upper granting the bright red and yellow accents extra pop. Each shoe only sports one of the two bright tie-dye patterns, yielding mismatched black/red and black/yellow kicks. All of the styles in the pack offer versatile white midsoles with black foxing, not unlike the recent otherwise-experimental “Japan Fabrics Collection.”
The three styles are available from BILLY’S site and select Japanese stockists for ¥8,640 JPY (approximately $80 USD) and ¥7,560 JPY (approximately $70 USD) for the Old Skools and Slip-On, respectively.
