Pro Era, The Underachievers & Flatbush Zombies Drop Beast Coast Single "Left Hand"
Three of NYC’s best crews.
Following several years of anticipation, three of the East Coast’s reigning rap-crews — Pro Era, The Underachievers and Flatbush Zombies — have reconnected under the Beast Coast banner for a new collaborative single known as “Left Hand.” Specifically, the new Beast Coast record features bars from Joey Bada$$, Kirk Knight, Nyck Caution, Powers Pleasant, CJ Fly, Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice, Erick the Architect, Ak The Savior and Issa Gold, while Tyler Dopps and Sam Wish handle its production. “Left Hand” also serves as the lead single in support of Beast Coast’s forthcoming studio album.
“Stepped through n***a be fitted like James Bond / Enemies butter soft like cotton and creamed corn / Hennessey for my liver been drinking a liter / On a killing spree knocking back thotties like ping pong / N***as Diddy Kong follow a leader with weak hearts,” Issa Gold raps for his “Left Hand” contribution. “Singing silly songs giving no effort, I leak sauce / But we live long praying for n***as to hate strong / Never hate on giving out love like Faizon.”
“Take a shot to the bullet, got me dipping / Finger on the trigger, pull it, you’re a dead man / Not close, n***a understand these things / Beast coast takin’ over, it was destined, I / Got to tell these n***as I’m a legend,” Joey Bada$$ spits for his verse. “If you sleep, I ain’t even interested / Couple dead presidents in my left hand / N***as don’t want war with the bad mon (Bad mon).”
