adidas has just unveiled its first AlphaEdge 4D silhouette dedicated to the ladies, which is a collaborative model designed by English fashion designer Stella McCartney.

The Three Stripes and McCartney’s joint effort has resulted in an almost blacked out iteration, seeing as the full upper is decked out in the tone. Added to the throat of the shoe is a sock-like liner dressed with an embroidered “Stella McCartney” branding, helping to inject a bit luxe feel into the model reminiscent of Balenciaga’s Speed Trainer. Another noteworthy feature sees the usual mint FUTURECRAFT midsole taking on an off-white shade. Finally a black Continental rubber outsole with a pebbled traction pattern completes the look.

The Stella McCartney x adidas AlphaEdge 4D is slated to be a limited edition release and will land at select adidas retailers and adidas.com in April for an expected retail price of $350-$450 USD. Stay tuned for an exact date.
