Yungeen Ace Reflects on His Past Trials & Tribulations for "So Long"
“I’ve already dealt with death, prison, violence, poverty and abuse – what else can the devil do to stop me?”
Towards the beginning of the year, Yungeen Ace memorialized his late brother for the powerful video in support of “2X Screamin.” Now, the fast-rising 21-year-old rapper is back with his first major new single of 2019, “So Long.” Notably, today’s record serves as his first new release since last December’s Life I’m Livin project. In recent months, Yungeen Ace has also racked up millions of streams across YouTube and similar streaming platforms.
“I’ve already been through so much in so little time,” Yungeen Ace tells us, breaking down the motivations behind his little track. “At 21, I’ve experienced more pain than people twice my age – but I know thats what makes me special. God wanted to make sure I was battle tested and war ready, and now I know nothing can stop me. I’ve already dealt with death, prison, violence, poverty and abuse – what else can the devil do to stop me? Every time I think he has one up on me, God shows me he has a bigger plan.”
