BVLGARI Creates the World's Thinnest Mechanical Chronograph Watch
Look at that side profile.

BVLGARI announces a big achievement in the watch world by releasing the world’s thinnest automatic chronograph watch. As an ode to the classic Gerald Genta design, the Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT Automatic sees the familiar 8-sided bezel (hence the name) but comes in at just 6.9mm thick.
Packed in its thin, sandblasted titanium case is a GMT function (local timezone is adjusted through the pusher at 9 o’clock), a small seconds subdial, 55 hours of power reserve, and a chronograph function. All this is possible through a 5.5mm-thick Caliber BVL 318 movement which has a peripheral rotor that rotates on the perimeter of the movement, allowing it to be set flush to both the dial and the display back.
Those looking for a modern, not-so-traditional watch that is both thin and lightweight can consider the BVLGARI Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT Automatic. It is slated for an August 2019 release and will set you back $17,600 USD.
