Marvel's 'Avengers: Endgame' "We Lost" Featurette Sees Cap, Iron Man & More Lamenting the Fallen
“Imagine if, for the first time, our heroes all lost.”
With only one month left to go before Avengers: Endgame, the final film of “The Infinity Saga” releases nationwide, Marvel has just shared a new featurette recapping the devastating loss that occurred during Infinity War.
The two-minute video titled “We Lost” sees Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and more discussing their distress about the events that occurred after Thanos’ snap; one that vanished half of the universe’s population.
Robert Downey Jr. who plays Iron Man starts off the clip stating, “Imagine if, for the first time, our heroes all lost” which is then followed by images of the Avengers battling against Thanos. Chris Evans then joins in by saying, “Everyone was doing their best to keep their heads above water, but it’s kind of a losing battle. We lost, and we’re not used to losing. They’ve truly levelled us. Not just literally, but morally and emotionally.”
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige even makes an appearance to touch upon fan reactions post Infinity War, claiming just how connected the world has become with the Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s superheroes.
Along with this new featurette, Marvel shared 32 new Avengers: Endgame posters of both fallen and remaining heroes. Endgame hits theathers April 26 and will have a runtime of three hours and two minutes.
