Denzel Curry Shows Us the Dark Side of Fame With His "Black Balloons" Visual
Featuring Twelve’len and GoldLink.
It’s been a long wait, but rapper Denzel Curry has finally dropped off a set of trippy visuals for his Twelve’len- and GoldLink-assisted single, “Black Balloons.”
Directed by Zen Deans, the just shy of five-minute clip provides viewers with a dizzying trip through the life of the rapper. The visual starts off with Curry sitting in an office as he signs his first music contract. Soon the building’s wall breaks apart and the artist can be seen traveling alongside his manager through the desert in a jeep, which takes him to mecca filled with beautiful women and drugs. The video then ends with a clown-faced Curry behind bars, symbolizing the dark side of fame and its hidden motifs. Not everything is always as it seems in the music world. Check out the clip for yourself above.
The single, which Curry released last summer, is part of the Florida lyricist’s third studio album, the three-part project TA13OO. Curry is currently working on Black Balloons, The Love Below Remix Pack which is set to feature seven different remixes and is due out this Friday. Keep it locked here for the release.
