A Closer Look at the Full 'Game of Thrones' x adidas UltraBOOST Collection
Which house are you representing?
With Game of Thrones‘ eighth and final season set to hit screens next month, the HBO show is about to drop its collaboration with adidas. Featuring six different UltraBOOST colorways, the capsule references the three major houses competing for the Iron Throne — Stark, Targaryen and Lannister — as well as a sneaker for the Night’s Watch, White Walkers and Targaryen dragons.
Each of the colorways references the house’s colors, with the Lannister UlraBOOST featuring a red Primeknit upper with gold three stripe overlays. Similarly, the Stark colorway comes in a Direwolf-inspired colorway, while the Targaryen sneaker is wrapped in white and gold.
For the White Walker colorway, adidas has wrapped the sneaker in a white upper with “Core Black” and “Grow Blue” overlays. The Dragon-themed sneaker features a black and scarlet construction and, finishing off the pack, the Night’s Watch sneaker comes with a black upper and white overlays.
As well as the colorways, each house is also referenced through its motto on the shoe’s heel tab. These phrases range from the Lannister’s “Hear Me Roar” to the Night King’s “Winter Is Here.”
